\"\"<\/a>An author, historian, speaker and seasoned traveler of over 80 countries, Craig hitchhiked across Europe at the age of 17, ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, trekked to and lived in a remote Borneo jungle village, swam in the mighty Mekong River of Laos, shared stories with the Moroccan \u201cBlue People\u201d of the Sahara desert, and meditated at the foot of a moai on Easter Island (Rapanui).<\/p>\n

Born in humble beginnings in Compton, California, Craig went on to graduate from UCLA, and build a career in research and higher education.<\/p>\n

Craig’s avid interest and experience in archaeological work naturally led him to the Maya sites of Mexico and Central America. Over the past thirty years he has spent extensive periods at dozens of remote Maya sites.<\/p>\n
